Green Envy

Follow your heart. I ask myself, what does that mean? I suppose it can be considered subjective or completely cliche. Many of us have reasons, mostly that society has placed on us, that can make it difficult to grasp the determination and willpower necessary to actually place ourselves on that journey. I too struggle, daily, with this pursuit. This is only a small piece of what I desire, I crave so much more. I find myself, like so many, over-thinking, overanalyzing everything. From the best plan of application to the best thing to start with. Unfortunately, there is no map to any of this, no rules either. You have to design your own strategy. I am learning as I go, I am no expert. I do hope, however, that you appreciate this piece of me. If I can inspire, even only one person out there, then, I have not failed.

Modern LBD (Little Black Dress)

The LBD should be considered a staple in every woman's wardrobe (so they say). I feel there should be a little number, whatever that is for you, in every woman's closet that just makes you feel like a WOMAN! This dress is that for me...right now, LOL! While it is simple, and it certainly doesn't hurt that I scored it for a great price, it has become one of my current favorite pieces. This is my grown woman dress. LOL! Seriously, I definitely am the type of person that dresses based on my mood. Honestly, you can't always tell what mood I'm in by the color I wear either. So, happy guessing! 

The beauty of a neutral, simple piece like this is that it can literally be styled however you want. Dressed up with a leather bomber draped on the shoulders, a trench, or even a pair of sneakers to dress it down. The possibilities are endless! Therefore, I challenge you to take your favorite LBD (or to purchase one) and have fun in your closet. You're bound to discover that the enduring style of an LBD is forever effortless and sexy.

Crisp Sensation

They say white is not an easy color to pull off. Funny, I don't even think about it. I have always been a lover of white, especially in the summer. It's just so clean to me, and crisp. I also believe it screams confidence. Society would have you think otherwise, if you're not rail thin.  Personally, I am a true believer in "if you feel good in it, it'll look good on you". That's half the battle. It's all about the fit. As long as it fits, it can work. 

Moral of the story, BE WHAT YOU WANT! You can't be anyone else anyway. LOL!
