Nude Dream

Just recently returned from Egypt! It was a lovely trip. Went to see family but, I also did some fun, adventurous things as well. I also went shopping! Of course! Bought a few local trinkets and pieces that I just adore. There was so much I wanted to buy...lol! They really make beautiful things there. Loved it! However, sometimes you can't buy everything you love. Bummer!

Ahhh...this dress, my first bodycon dress! It hung in my closet for so long. I just didn't have the guts to wear it...because it hugs EVERYthing! I tried it on again recently and I was like...I feel so good in this! I guess I had to warm up to it...LOL! This white topper adds just the right amount of polish. I think I will be adding a couple more bodycon dresses to my wardrobe.

Thanks for stopping by,

Kaloni

Vintage 'Merica

July 05, 2016 by Kaloni King

There is so much happening around the world today that I find it difficult to focus sometimes and have the audacity to have a platform like this to exhibit my art.  Sometimes, I just want to drop everything I know and move across the globe and live in a village somewhere and just live simply and help people as much as I can. Then, I think that perhaps, I can help on a larger scale, if I work hard enough.  So, I strive daily to achieve these goals that I have and to make my dreams come into fruition.  I still believe it can happen in spite of everything that has happened in my life.

There is something I'm working on, I cannot yet share it; however, I will as soon as I can.  For now, I'll continue to blog and get more focused on the now and what I actually have control over.  I often become overwhelmed by the flood of thoughts that cloud my mind.  Although, I suppose that happens to all of us. I hope you will continue to stop by and read my blog and hopefully draw inspiration on some level.  Until next time...

Thanks for stopping by,

Kaloni

Apricot Summer

June 23, 2016 by Kaloni King

Okay, this outfit was originally planned for my recent trip to San Diego for my birthday, but, sadly, I couldn't wear it due to the rain.  I didn't want to mess up my shoes (I know, I'm so crazy! Haha!). I was so bummed!  So much for sunny California.  After I returned, the weather could not be more perfect by the bay for a birthday lunch with my friend. I decided it was the perfect outfit.  So, as we're walking in Georgetown, on our way to the restaurant, I was like, hey, let's do a mini-photoshoot of me really quick, please! Literally! Good thing I decided to bring my camera. Ha! And my dear friend was such a great sport!  Lucky me! :)

This crop top is an old one from Zara and this skirt is from a couple of seasons ago from Eloquii.  These mules (I'm so glad they are back!) are my new favorite go to for almost any outfit. Plus, they are so comfy.  I remember when I used to wear mules in the 90's even as a kid, because, everyone did, of course! Being a tall kid with grown-sized extremities had it's perks. Lol!

P.S. Please comment below and let me know what you think!  I'd love to hear from you!
